A widespread 4-8 inches of snow fell across much of New England over the past 36 hours with a wide swath of 6-12 inches across northern New England. Northern Vermont was the jackpot zone with widespread reports of over a foot of snow. In addition to the snow, plenty of sleet and freezing rain fell, with reports of a quarter to half inch of ice in Connecticut. For many areas farther north in the mixing zone, sleet ended up dominating over freezing rain.
