Two days into this long-duration storm has provided a band of moderate snowfall across northern New England along with a wide swath of freezing rain and sleet. Another round of freezing rain, sleet and plain rain will move through New England tonight into Monday morning. The past 24 hours has seen impactful icing, though a worst-case scenario with power outages was definitely avoided. Just over 15,000 were without power across New England earlier today. Outage numbers have been slowly dropping for the past several hours. Here are the totals so far:
