That was certainly not a bust. This storm did have a higher than usual chance of “busting” on snow thanks to a few factors (warm ocean and onshore flow, timing of when the low intensified), but the storm remained on track, and ended up over-performing in some areas. A heavy band of snow set up shop over northeastern Massachusetts and southeastern New Hampshire in the afternoon, highly inflating the final totals in those areas. Here are the numbers:
North Attleborough 5 inches
Boston (Logan) 1.9 inches
West Hartford 11.3 inches
West Greenwich 5.8 inches
North Providence 5 inches
Little Compton 2.3 inches
Center Sandwich 8.5 inches
South Windham 10.5 inches
East Brookfield 12 inches
Saint Johnsbury 10.5 inches
